Dr. John Bond

Dr. John Bond III is a native of Nashville and began his practice in Nashville in 1989. He received his undergraduate education at Vanderbilt University where he received his B.S. in Biomedical Engineering in 1979. Dr. Bond graduated from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, TN in 1984. He completed a transitional internship at Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown, NY 1984-85 and his residency in opthalmology at Indiana University Indianapolis, Indiana, 1985-88. Dr. Bond's fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology was completed at Indiana University and Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, Indiana, 1988-89. He was certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology in 1991. He is currently Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Vanderbilt University in Nashville.

Dr. Bond is a member of the American Academy of Opthalmology, the American Medical Association, the Tennessee Medical Association, Tennessee Academy of Ophthalmology and the North American Neuro-Ophthalmology Society.
